Who said Happiness is a Myth?

Happiness means many different things for many people. For some it is reality for others it is a choice. For some it’s a journey for others it’s a destination. For some it is existence for others it’s a Myth…

For me Happiness is acceptance, Happiness is thoughtfulness and a dash of caring, it is more than experience it’s art of living.

When I think about happiness, several quotations made a special impression:

“There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty of being happy.” Robert Louis

“What a wonderful life I’ve had! I only wish I’d realized it sooner.” Colette

“The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer somebody else up.” Mark Twain

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.” Helen Keller

“Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”Buddha

Why to spend our lives drowned in determining when we will have time to be vastly happy, rather than taking advantage of the present moment and simply be happy.

Why not to learn from our past, instead of getting stuck living our unpleasant memories?

Why not to plan for the future instead of being afraid of it?

Why we don’t live the art of happiness now, instead of deferring it too long so to get it soured by age?

Happiness is like jam you can’t spread even a little without getting some on yourself. So what is keeping us from spreading happiness around?

Remember that Happiness comes into your life through doors you don’t even remember leaving open. Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. Many people believe that happiness is a form of luck and that some people are destined to be happy while others are destined to be unhappy. Stop building those walls around you to keep out the sadness because they also keep out the joy.

Do you really know what makes you happy and what it takes to achieve it?
